Athletic Reprogramming refers to the programs designed by “Iron Will” Roberts. Over the last two and a half decades Will had the privilege to train with some of the most cutting edge authorities on health, fitness, and performance in the world. As an avid learner, Will accumulated knowledge from all these different experiences, and added his own revelations to put together a program that has been wildly effective at removing pain while safely improving strength, speed, flexibility, and overall athleticism. They are a perfect balance of strengthening the body without simultaneously damaging the body like most traditional workout regimens. These programs have been utilized for professional athletes and weekend warriors, injury recovery and fat loss, as well young children to the elderly. They are completely scalable meaning you never have to work through pain regardless if you are training for high level performance for your sport or trying to get out of pain so you can play with your grandkids! The programs include isometrics, plyometrics, light weights, heavy weights, and various other implements, when appropriate. Will likes to say “the exercises are like sprinting… mixed with power lifting…mixed with stretching”.

Athletic Reprogramming starts with three 12 week segments and progresses from there. These are set in a specific way to maximize efficient learning, safety, and incredible results.

The first 12 weeks is “Reverse Engineering Pain” This requires little to no equipment and is designed to identify bad habits that occur from a modern lifestyle (sitting, slouching, etc) as well as past injuries/ imbalances, or poor training methods. This phase tends to be absolutely life changing for people as they realize that despite past injuries, they can still train hard and see amazing results while actually healing their body! This requires very little equipment. A set of dumbbells and some open wall space would be great.

2nd 12 weeks: “World Class Foundation” Now that bad habits have been minimized or completely removed in the previous phase, we have a clean slate to start building well rounded strength and athleticism. People also tend to see a massive change in their physique in this phase. A few more strategic pieces of equipment are recommended for the 2nd and 3rd phases (dumbbells, pullup bar, etc)

3rd 12 weeks: “Becoming Superhuman” Now that we have created an incredible foundation of strength as well as overall fitness and proper movement patterns, we can push those traits further and explore more of our potential. This might lead to a competitive athlete setting a PR (personal record) for their strength and speed. Or it could be a grandma being able to squat all the day down to play with her grandkids pain free. This is a very fun phase because we regularly reach goals that people thought were unattainable!

Will is not a doctor (“and doesn’t play one on the internet” haha). Will is not a medical professional and doesn’t give advice regarding specific medical conditions. Will specializes in physical capacity and joint strength. Athletic Reprogramming strengthens and restores the muscles, tendons, and ligaments from the ground up and bulletproofs the joints against the intense forces that they are subjected to in sports and in life. While the best results will always come from diving into Athletic Reprogramming FULLY, Will understands that many members will have their own athletic programs that they are doing, such as bodybuilding, or specific athletic coaching for hockey, football, soccer etc. with their team trainers. He has this to say about combining your program with Athletic Reprogramming: ”Sessions can be executed in as little as 20-30 minutes and will hit the missing links to get you even more results out of your existing training!" “Reverse Engineering” is 3 sessions per week (M, W, F) with additional optional work on “off” days. Sessions can always be modified to fit with your other goals, needs, and schedule.

Unlike most programs that you simply purchase, download, and then you are on your own to implement it…this is an ongoing, interactive coaching experience! We utilize an app called TrueCoach that operates like a personalized, interactive calendar. This is where we deliver the actual programs, workouts, and coaching. Within TrueCoach, you will see your daily workout (on your computer or smartphone) along directions, descriptions, and video demonstrations from Will. You can even send in videos of you doing your sets and receive feedback on your form from Will and our coaching team. This is what sets this program apart from most! There is no point in doing an exercise wrong. Perfect form is the cornerstone of a good program! There are videos showing how you progress from the lowest level to the highest level. There are set benchmarks that you work towards on each individual exercise, as verified by a coach. When you sign up, you will be invited to use the TrueCoach app that we use for the daily coaching. You will download the app and receive a message from your coach, and you will be assigned “Reverse Engineering” as the first step. When you have accomplished the purpose of “Reverse Engineering”, you may advance to the next phase of the program.
